Under your hood?

I was kind of hoping someone had switches inside the jeep. But then you also got to be able to reach it from the outside to wind the winch back up.

Is it possible to have another set of switches going to the cab? Then I could use the plug in for winding cable and put control box under the hood.

Yes, a couple of guys on here have in cab controls, as well as hand held. But I think that's why they make 6+ foot of wire on the hand control..I just see fingers lay'n on the ground when two many people get involved with running the winch. Your up front(out of sight) with the line in your hand.. And your passenger wants to roll the window down..oops, thats not the window button?

Good point. If I do it, would deff be on my side with a cover. The main reason is I don't like it on the front. Maybe a wireless option? Any buddy got personal experience with wireless. Then I could put control box under hood or in the back.
