After watching the Rubicon video (great job, loved it) I have little to no faith in my RRC sliders which don't even have all the nuts attaching them because I couldn't get a socket on them. I want to see some pics of sliders that have taken some abuse and see how they've held up. I really like the Evo and Poison spyder ones but what else is out there. As much as I like the looks of the Smittybilt RRC, they are not gonna hold up without a center support.
How do I go about getting my money back for my RRC's that I cannot mount correctly? I've had them on for months now so I don't know what recourse I would have if any.

I know you were asking for input on other brands of sliders, but I've gotta give my recommendation on the poison sypders. I put them on a couple weeks ago and they've served me real well so far. Yea, they attach to the body and not the frame, and that's the main argument against them. I'll tell you what though, anybody who's seen or installed these know that they aren't going anywhere. They'll survive whatever you put them through. The best part about body mounted sliders is they go up with the body should you install a body lift. They also gain you a bit more clearance than frame mounted sliders.

He made a very good point about body mounted sliders. So it depends on how your Jeep is setup or how you want to set it up. If you plan on a body lift of any kind even in addition to suspension lift I would recommend the sliders by Poison. If yu are just going to have a suspension lift, EVO!

how about pure jeep? any thoughts on those? I'd never do a body lift, don't like the look but I am doing a 3.5 long arm lift in the spring. to me maximum clearance is preferred so body mounted sliders are an option. they seem very strong and where I'm going to end up with this jeep, its not like what I'm doing to it can ever be undone.
So, what is the best body mounted slider out there? How many brands of body mounted sliders are there and whaddyagot for pics?

I don't have pics but if you are going suspension lift go with the evo ones. Check out the pics in this link below on a thread here on the forum.

looking for something more tucked up. The Evo's look nice and I've seen how rugged they are but seem to sit lower than most. Maybe it pure jeep i'm thinking of that has the body mounted ones but they provided great protection and the most clearance.
Here is an adminstrator's JK he was selling that had the Pure Jeeps on it and there are a few pics in this thread and someone posting in the thread praising them.

I just installed the rancho rock sliders and they are pretty simple to install. Hardest part is matching it up with the pinch seam, just throw a floor jack under the center and bring it up. I haven't tested them out yet, but, while i put em on i jacked the jeep up to the point where the tires were off the ground lifting on front, back, and mid of the sliders individually and they didn't move an inch. then me and my buddy, I'm 200 and hes about 170 got on em and started to bounch and they weren't moving an inch. I can send pictures if you want. These mount to both the frame and the pinch seam.
