thats ok, thank you for the attempt Can you possibly get the distance between the upper and lower rails? Should be the same for 2 and 4 door. Thanks again, I can guesstimate the rest off their website.

Default Dont hate me evo! I love you guys!

I love your stuff EVO, but im a poor college kid and enjoy building my own gear. Please dont hate me.

Tube length was estimated after looking at a ton of pictures and some time with a tape measure on the jeep. I think its a little taller and the plate angles aren't as .... angled. One other thing to note.... the back mount to the frame is an inch longer than the front.... didn't realize this at first and ended up wasting a bit of steel. But I still love them and after putting them to the test they have held up beautifully. Some day i hope i can buy a Tig so my welds will be as beautiful, but till then, they do just fine!

attached: a few pics of construction and the final product. Coated in (cheap) rustoleum spray on bed liner, which after hitting the sliders a few weeks ago, was great to just spray a new coat and be good to go!

I think these are the measurements i used. i did some rounding off when i made them to make it easy. Like i said, i feel 5 inches (prior to notching) is a little tall, when i do my brothers it will probably be a little shorter and therefore also a little closer to the body on the frame rails to make up for the lost height when protecting the sides. They are mounted with two tube extensions each, welded to another piece of 3/16 plate on each one then a triangular brace.

Its dark and cold out right now. Ill go out tomorrow morning and do an actual re measuring to make sure.

I also remember another post a guy made while he made his own as well. He just flat out called EVO and asked. from what i understand, as long as he didn't share those dimensions then they gave them to him.

On that note: EVO - If you want me to remove this i can. Just PM me.

5 in between tubes sounds correct, as far as the tube going to the frame, i just set them on jack stands and measured. FYI... on a 4 door it will be three diferent lengths due to the way the frame is made. I am the guy that called evo, they did give me a few measurements but told me where to measure from so that the lower tube will look correct, from there i just 45ed a tube to connect to the upper tube and it all came out nice. i would take measurements but my loving wife has now taken MY jeep as hers and she is buying me a 2012 harley street glide this friday... gotta love her
