Let me guess, the driver side front hole does not line up? If that's the problem you will need to get a dremmel and a couple of cutting wheels and make the hole bigger so the bolt goes in. When I got mine earlier this year I had the same problem, I later found out that this problem has existed from day one and Smittybilt still has not fixed the issue. Based on this poor workmanship and the lack of concern for quality has made me stay clear from any more products from Smittybilt. That beiing said, once I got them installed I love them. I've hit some big rocks and trees and they held up very well. I also like the big step.

Get a torch, a drill-motor and an alignment bar. That should help you fix most problems.
