First test, Water over the hood, over the windshield and the inside is now full of mud. looks like a week of cleaning. even managed to get mud in the snorkel and air box but no water!
Now let the cleaning begin.
Any ideas for cleaning the weeds out of everything? oh and the horn doesn,t work any more but it was no good any way. definitly a six beer cleaning job.

Great job. I'm installing mine sometime this week. I got it with the prefilter.

I'm not sure that the pre filter would have helped during this test run. I gotta get a snorkel and mask for Tucker the dog.

ps - i used 3M 5200 to seal up the air box.

Gratz on a successful test and the install looks great. Does the kit call for rivets or is it usually self tapping tech3 screws? It's a nice flush finish with the riveted look. Have fun washing it out......

the kit came with 1/8" s/s rivets for the trim piece but other than that pretty simple. Not so simple when your holding the drill in one hand and a beer in the other ready to make that first cut in the hood.
