Bought this 2013 pre-owned from the local Jeep dealership. Was considering doing the pinch seam mod and went to the garage to take a look. Guess the original owner had the same idea. I guess I better put this on a lift and see what other mods might have been done, then removed before I bought it.

 

Congrats on the new vehicle! I do believe in the newer year Jeeps they are coming from the factory this way, just so you know!

 

Jeep trimmed the seams out of the factory halfway through production and yours is much too clean to have been done at home. I'd bet that's just the factory cut, look how well it's painted up and matches.

Ah! I thought it was '14's and newer only. Great news. I thought the paint looked correct as well, and wondered about that. Many thanks.
