Default Spacer lifts on top of spring swaps

I went from 14/56's to 18/59's on my '11 2dr, which gave me roughly 1.75" up front and 1.25" in the back. Well, I found a great deal on some 2.5" coil spacers, which if my math serves me right then I'll be at 4.25" front and 3.75" back. I've looked at a few pics of JK's with 4" lifts and 35's....looked a little funny to me but not too shabby with stock flares. I have crusher fronts and trimmed rears. Here's how Dori sits now.

I forgot to mention that I also have 3/4" coil spacers up front right now but obviously they will be taken out when the 2.5's are put in.

Very little knowledge here, but will you not run into drive shaft issues with that much lift on a 2dr?

I like how your rig sits now. It's tough to capitalize on the up travel when running large spacers without over compressing the springs so unless you add longer shocks, which adds other issues like the need for new driveshafts (front minimum), adjustable LCAs for caster adjustment, etc. So you will likely be losing flex and off road capability by adding the spacers. All at the cost of making your Jeep look like a roller skate. Just my

I think your Jeep looks great as it sits right now. I think the spacers will add too much lift, especially since you are running flat flares. I'd pass on the spacers and look into other mods.

Yeah, I was also worried about drive shafts and other things that would need changed. I know a guy with a 3.5" lift and flatties and it just looks too tall. Maybe I can find a leveling kit....1.75" front and .75 back. I could also always go back to the 14/56's and add the 2.5" spacers but then I would get that crappy rake back.

I did the same, 14/56 to 18/59 I gained a bit more lift from mine like 2 1/4 and 2". I put on 3/4" and 1 3/4 spacers and took them back out after 2 weeks, I'd stick with what you have now, more than capable and with the flat flares no real need for more.
I did, however, go with longer shocks

Your rig looks very nice. I myself went from 14/55 to 18/59's with TF 2" front and 1" rear leveling kit.

Thanks everyone, Yeah, that looks good and I think I will go with that. Looked at kits today. I really wish the leveling kits came with all the extensions and relocation brackets and they don't because they aren't accounting for spring swap lift. I do appreciate all the kind words and not saying I'm not listening when told to keep my current setup but I would like just a little more height than what I have now. Just a wee bit more.

EVERYBODY always wants to have an extra inch!

FYI. I do not do major rock crawling just service and logging roads. It has worked fine for me. I will eventually go with larger tires. I would like to get long brake lines down the road as well. No problems with it. It rides nice at 80...and up to 90
