Awesome JK man, I had a LS2 sitting in my garage for about 6 months waiting to go in my Blazer ZR2, ended up having to sell it but still wanting to do the swap later on down the road. I think thats the biggest down side of taking someone out of a fast road car and sticking them into an offroad machine, they are just never fast enough LOL

yes flat fenders.
I like the fast motor and the LS2
The JK is so new it only has 79 miles on it. Going out again in two weeks.

You are right don't try to go that fast in a regular jeep. Straight to Ridiculous has a custom 3 link with the 16 inch King triple bi pass shocks, 16 inch coil overs and 2 inch bump stops that is why it can go fast, it also has all the safety gear and massive roll cage.
Also the suspension is super flexable for rock crawlin. I made it so it can be multipurpose. Baja, rocks, sand, mud.
First test was to Cal City and next trip in two weeks is to Johnson Valley.
Most fab things are custom and not off of the shelf. The best tip I can give anyone builing up their JK is get all of the parts first, I mean all of the parts. Then take it to the shop. Because the Parts take forever to get the shop has no choice but to move to other jobs. Then your back in line. Even with all the parts that I had to start with, they were just the tip of the iceberg.
