Default Stubby

It ain't much yet but it is solwly getting there. Here is a mock up of what I am going to build. The reason I made this was to make sure that it looked the way I wanted it to. Not shown is the tube bar and I what to go about 1 1/2" shorter on the front. My question is: In about three weeks I want ot order the clevis mounts from AtoZ fab, what type of bolts and nut would be ideal for the mounts? Click image for larger version

looks good.definately go with grade 8 nuts and bolts.i believe the bolt thickness from stock is 1/2" so you wont have to drill out the factory holes if you stick with that size

here is a quick follow up on my bumper build, taking it slow, still need to clean out the rest of the metal and finish welding the pipes for the stock fog lights and making the brackets. The blue tape was for me getting an idea of where the tube bar was going to more or less.

Default my first attempt at nerd bars

Just finished my first attempt on making a set of nerf bars. I know it's not a cool thing to do but my wife is 5' 1" tall and has trouble getting on . On a different note I know that i might run into some issues with rubbing when increase in tire size but since I'm expecting my 1st child so I sure it will be a long while before I actually run into that issue lol

nice job on the both bumpers . Going to start my rear bumper in a month or 2, still working on how I want it to look like, was thinking something like this

Nice job, I built my first bumper similar to yours but with a stinger. I like seeing homemade bumpers

thanks, I have really enjoyed working on my jeep, always a good day when family and friends come over to help out or just come by to look at what I got on my work bench for my jeep
