This Sucked~~~With Pics
So Im off road for the very FIRST time with my new Jeep. Have 3000 miles on my aftermarket Nitto Terra Grappler tires. Bought 5 fort over a cost of $1000. Im is a opening in the woods. I see my handy low tire pressure warning light......I get out of the Jeep with the Jeep still running and all I hear is a really loud "hissssssssssss" . This is what I see. WTF........Change to spare. ( Glad I bought 5 ) and away we go. Call Discount Tire and they have to order the tire. I get a new on today...( I bought replacement coverage ) and the guy says that it will be $33.50 for the new relacement certificate.....I laughf and pay the guy. I guess $33.50 is better that the $210 retail.....

I always keep a close lookout for sticks that may puncture a tire.
One of the reason I run bias ply's (TSL's) on my J10. Several years back I got two flats within 5 seconds of each other from a piece of manzanita that slashed the sideswalls of both passenger side tires. And I don't carry two spares with me. So I got in another guys Jeep, we drove 45 mins back to my house, grabbed two other tires (didnt have another 33" tire at the time, and I had lockers, so had to use same size tires), drove all the way back up the trail. The other guys had fitted the remaining good front onto the back, and had the front ready to go. By this time it was pitch black out, working by head lights. Got everything back together and back home.
Needless to say, I am very careful about looking for sharp sticks now
