T-Rex
That is a partner for Rex. Rex can do a lot of trails that other rigs cant. Solution: build another. This one will have a slightly different suspension (dual triangulated 4link rear), More breakover, a supercharger rather than hemi, d-44/60 fronts, d-60 rear, fully armored, seats will be set up like rex, 40" rubber. Total weight when done: somewhere in the 5500-6000lb range. It should be good in rocks and driving fast like Rex.
TnT used Rex to develop really good parts. They designed stuff and I tested it on Rex. After a number of iterations, the tnt parts don't break--they have captured the learning. Next embodiment of the learning: that is the jeep in the background (it doesn't have a real name yet so we just call it 001).
So when I want to do an extreme trail, all I have to find is a driver rather than a jeep and a driver.
