Default Teraflex Big Brake kit/ Master cylinder installed.

Installed the Teraflex Big brake kit and upgraded master cylinder a few days ago.

I decided to paint them with POR 15 caliper paint $40 from the local speed shop. you can see how the caliper prep solvent "etched" the caliper for the POR 15 paint.

I Removed the dust boots for the pistons for painting and then reinstalled.

Installed on the Jeep, one thing i was dissapointed in was the rotors, both of them were slotted in the same direction, so it looks like the drivers side rotor is backwards. I contacted Teraflex and they said the rotors make no difference which way they are facing. even though the picture on their website shows a left and right rotor.

After bleeding the brakes and bedding in the pads there is a very nice improvement in braking.

I'm glad i went this route instead of stock.

With any luck ups ought to be dropping mine tomorrow!

What as the size different in the MC piston you show. I couldn't make it out, and teraflex refused to answer me....

btw, tempted to use the por kit as you did also....what store did you get it at. wondering if its a chain.

I just added this kit about 3 weeks ago. I'm extremely happy with the added braking power. I have some slight pulling under harder braking, but I think that might be the suspension components which I'll be giving some attention to this weekend hopefully.
