No it doesnt fold. There wouldnt be anywhere for it to go, besides just laying the back down.
It stays in the same position, but you can face it forward or backwards...

Do you need to remove the carpeting to install it? I know you have to permanently remove the subwoofer.
I asked them recently to design the latch system into the seat. I think they are going to do it. It sounds like a family business. The kid had to ask his grandfather. I hope they stay in business by the time I get around to buy one.
I like how when it faces forward you can tumble the middle row single seat to get into the back, but when it faces backwards it doubles as trunk space better when nobody sits back there.

Yes you have to remove the carpet to install, but that isnt a big deal.
and yes you have to "relocate" your subwoofer. I think two things could be done here: mount subwoofer between the rollbars on the side , or even make your own or have someone make a box that will fit the woofer in the same spot. Seems like the speaker would fit, just not the big plastic box it is in.
Yes it is a small family business. They told me they make all seats to order, unless they have bought one back from someone already.

Really cool but I personally would not put my kids back there, if you get rear ended there is nothing protecting them. they are basically in the crumple zone.
