Just put my new Toyo Open Country AT2. They drive very well... They are 265/70R17 but are the same thing as my old Wrangler SR-A 255/75R17!?!?!

When I put one flat on the floor next to the 255, they are the same size. Also if I put the toyo 265 flat on the floor next to my winter Nokian 265, the toyo is about 1cm skinnier.

Should have checked the actual sizes first. . Most 255/75's are the same size or slightly taller than a 265/70.

Don't get me wrong, I love them and this is the size I wanted. I'm just surprise that numbers are not exactly the same base on different brand. For me, logically, a 265/70 is 31.5" and a 255/75 is a 32".....so both are not suppose to be the same. As another example, if I would have got the 285/70R17 instead, they would have been in reality a bit taller than a regular 285/70. I really like them and don't have any regrets so far

The Extreme Tread looks mean in person.

I'll get some better shots after work.

Default 285 75 17 on Teraflex 2.5 budget boost?

Folks,
bsmarble(right tire, 2" boost) and pierce88 (looks close, but 35's on 18's & not sure of his leveling kit height) are so close to what I'm looking for, but if anyone sees or has a Unlimited Rubicon with the TF/RC 2.5" spacer BB and the 285 75 17's... PLEASE post a side shot pic here?!? I have worn out Google and the site's search for this combo, and comparables and get close (2.5 coils - which are taller or the same size KM2's which aren't really the same height, and GY duratrac 315's - which are close), but no cigar. The fact that I can't find any examples has me little spooked, with this tire & the BB being so popular...
Thanks for the help if you can!

Default Comparison to MT?

Any long term comparison to MT? The extreme version is same weight, little shorter and narrow tread width. AT2 seem to be superior onroad.
