Those are the R-SE Step Sliders. When the doors are open it deploys but when they are closed it tucks back up under the Jeep. And they are rock solid! A couple of us were on each side jumping on them and we didn't feel any give at all. I really like them.

What happens to the part that lowers down of the doors are off? Do they just stay up all the time?
