Transfer case exploded
My friends and I was coming back from the desert. Not wheeling but just a good day of shooting our guns. On the way home we were talking about the transfer case problem that Eddie Wayoflife was show on his Moab video. Not 5 minute later this is what happen to my transfer case on the hwy at 65 mph...
My TJ I had split in half coming back from matagorta beach tx. Warranty guy said I hit a bolster and I told him if could me a bolster on a tx beach I would pay for repairs. They ended up covering the tow back to houston which was 200 miles and transfer case and my brother's windshield which one of the gears hit

holy cow!! glad that you're okay. looking at the pics, i see that you still have your factory front output shaft on and can only assume that you have some kind of adapter or flange mount. if i could guess, this is part of your problem but what's troubling me more is the fact that looking at your rear drive shaft, i could swear you have it installed backwards. at least, i don't think i see a double cardan and i'm definitely seeing the slip shaft and that really should be at the pinion end.
