Not getting all the parts suck. But, at least you know with a little more patience you'll be happy with one mean looking/performing jeep!

I cant open the hood nothing was attached I just threw it up there to see what it would look like. I would imagine that the accordian in the middle of the two parts will do its job its rather large. Due to no real instructions either. I think this is how I will go about installing this thing.

1- Cut hole in hood 3.75" with supplied templet
2- install CAI box once i get parts
3- install widshield part of scoop
4-put the hood part on see how it lines up with the cai box then make some sort of templet for the other 4 holes that hold that part down. <<< is the pita

Thats my plan and im sticking with it
I modified my bestop relocation bracket on that side so I can still use it today.
I am already to go once i get the extra parts

Just too bulky IMO, for cold climates, I worry about the flexibility when you open the hood.

looks like a giant slug sitting on the hood! -that wasn't very nice I know just the first thing that came to mind. If you like it that's what matters. Personally I like the ones that are a little more low profile and off to the side of the hood.
