i just painted my JEEP hood emblem flatt black. now i gotta put it bak on the hood. i bought 3m tape but it doesnt feel strong enough to hold! what do u guys use?

 

What hood emblem? You mean the grill emblem?

 

Gorilla glue. It'll never come off.

Really does look better without the emblem altogether. Shame so many people ask whether its a damn Hummer or else mine would already be gone.

 

You're good with the 3m... I used it to reattach mine this past summer and it has held up great.

Gorilla glue. It will stick anything to anything. I'm convinced of this fact.

 

If you got whatever the heavy duty 3M double sided tape is you should be more than good.

Or just leave it off, it looks pretty good that way as Mark Doiron has shown with his rig.

If people get all confused and ask what it is , just tell them it's a lima bean and walk/drive off.

If you have to explain that it's a Jeep then it's not worth wasting your breath on someone whose intelligence is rivaled only by that stuff I scrapped off the bottom of my shoe the other day.

 

Ummm...so what if you ever decide you want to take it off?

Use the 3M tape...you'll be much better off!
