Got my Smittybilt order in today, so I have my new front and rear bumpers installed along with the fender flares. Couple of things so far that I wasn't too stoked about. The tire carrier that came with the rear bumper had a busted weld on the clamp right out of the box, now I have to deal with the whole return process, which is kind of a bummer. The weld was also a bit rusted (see pic below), which makes me suspicious that it may not have been a completely new part.




Hopefully they will replace this soon so I can use this thing. Anyway, front bumper went on ok, but was a bit of a hack job to make it fit the 2011, holes were slightly off, but we made it work!



The new Smittybilt fender flares are way too small and i'm simply not a fan of how they look. Any suggestions on a better steel fender flare that looks more like the Bushwacker flat style flares? These will be for sale as soon as I find a replacement.



Next week...need to pick out a winch and lights for the front and I am still trying to decide on rock rails and panels. Liking the Poison Spider's as well as the EVO Offroad at the moment, can't seem to pull the trigger on either quite yet.

Uninstalled all my mods and traded it in. No worries, bought a new 2010 JKU instead! time to rebuild
