Spent the last 4 hours installing my new Body Armor front bumper. After removing the factory bumper I quickly realized that the Body Armor holes did not line up with the factory holes. They were off about 1/4". So I had to do some grinding and I actually had to drill to get the two side bolts to fit. This is a great bumper but they don't tell you any off this stuff. So if you buy it plan on doing some mods to get it to work.

I also put on my KC Hilites and some old Hella's that I had to the front bumper. I still need to wire these. Just ran out of time and energy today.

Overall, a good Jeep day. Not that there is any such thing as a bad Jeep day.

Default Deductible... or a winch?

Last Friday, 8 hours after my 2.5" Skyjacker was installed, and 45 minutes after my new 10" LED light bar was mounted- I broke my control arm welds, bent the shock, bent the axle, then broke my Rubicon wheel on the curb. YAY.

So I had tried to finesse the insurance to pay for upgraded parts, to really get something out of this. But in the end I decided to just stick factory- BECAUSE I LOVE MY JEEP. Winch is on the short list though!

I know Battle...it kinda feels like Christmas too....my AEV pintlers are sitting in the living room, my TF 4" kit and control arms are sitting in the garage...once I get the tires I'll be in business.......the waiting game is absolutely the worrrsssttt....but it's nice watching it all come together a little bit at a time too...the simple pleasures in life are the best
