Nope why pay more then the minimum on your jeep when you can take that money and pay double on your mortgage

 

Car loans are simple interest loans.. Other than paying off the loan early, there is no economic advantage to accelerating payments.

Well the Superchips Flashpaq went in two days ago, and so far I've tried out the gas mileage and 91 octane performance tunes. Didn't like the gas mileage tune as it felt like I had lost torque and was having to downshift too often. The 91 octane setting didn't really register anything on the Butt-o-meter. I've heard that the Towing tune is preferred by many, so that's next. I might try the 93 octane setting after adding an octane booster to a tank of gas, just to see if I can truly feel a kick in the butt difference. I'm still on the fence with the Flashpaq. It's easy to use and so far, no issues of any kind in changing tunes. Their software for updating leaves a lot to be desired and is painfully slow in updating. Retune takes about 5 minutes to perform, so you can do it as you are pumping gas! The MB Gunner 18" wheels go on as soon as Discount Tire calls me...awaiting shipment from Phoenix. Chris
