this week i installed silver star head lights next week the rubicon gets front and rear arb diff covers

 

Great lift kit. Easy install right? Time for bigger tires though.

 

Well lets see, Oh yea, I got my Rubicon on Friday!! Drilled mirrors and de-badged it today. (Except for the Rubicon decals on the hood)

 

This week... well, all yesterday, actually:
- removed hardtop
- removed doors
- installed softdoors
- removed spare tire carrier; decided to just keep the spare in the back cargo area
- installed 2K1TJ's doors-off mirror
- did the upside-down rear-view mirror mod
- removed the soundbar
- installed bestop safari top
- removed piece-of-crap bestop safari top
- didn't take any pics

 

Installed "project-jk.com" hood decals. bought Jet Stage 2 performance chip, ordered 1.5" wheel spacers, getting ready to order new fender flares, going to paint my "Jeep" logo black (as well as the key entry holes).

 

well i installed a back up camera for my wife, since she couldnt see the infinity g35s behind her last week.

i will eventually go back and paint the plastic black so that it will hide better.

with all the rental jeeps that run out here on the island, i had to make mine completly different.



i know the lighting sucks, but they look decent on the jeep. my first time doing decals on a vehicle so it didnt come out the best, just a few bubbles.

another 3200 miles and i can put the bb lift on and shorten the front bumper. also cant forget about eventually putting the grill gaurd in as well.

 

Project JK stickers

If I can find a jack and jack stands to borrow, I will be doing my front spacers today or Tues, if they are in stock at 4wd Wholesalers.

 

Looks like you need to drill your mirrors too.

 

yeah, i got lazy yesterday after fixing the camera and putting the stickers on that i came back inside and sat on the computer until i had to get the wife from work. ill do it someday.
