finished my install of the smittybilt xrc fender armour. what a PITA!!!!!!! one hundred fold. i have done a lot of car work, but this was just a pain! there are a few things you really need to consider or watch out for, that he directions dont tell you about. i will post this in the write up section when i have all my photos. had to call smittybilt a few times, one guy wasnt that helpful, but the other guy i spoke with Ali, went and took some pictures for me of their jeep to show me how things were done. Thanks! their's was slightly modified ( fender liner) then what their directions give. overall i am pretty happy with how the look. this weekend i have to try and finish my fender flares so i wont have to worry about getting a ticket. once you see he picture, you'll know why.

Week before last, my Jeep was traded in for a Chevy Traverse. Have a 3rd kid on the way, so i had to make the sacrifice. But man the 3rd row, leather, dvd, automatic everything sure is nice going from roll up windows and manual locks on the Jeep.

Installed Cruise Control. Very simple and cheap if you buy the Mopar parts separately instead of the kit. Just source some M8x12 (two) and M8x16 (one) pan head sheet metal screws from the local hardware store. All three were $0.31 from ACE. Paid about $86 total for the parts from a local dealer and took maybe 35 minutes to do. If you don't want to notch the stock collar, add $5 for a new one (they forgot to order mine.)
Also removing the puny Rubi Rails I put on last month (temporary option) to make room for some Shrockworks rails.
