JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Thumbs up

Hey... did you do the paint job on the half doors yourself? I have the enclosures for my elements doors and need to paint them Flame Red as well. Did you do a couple of coats of paint and then a couple of clear coat? I was literally just searching for painting tips when I saw your post tonight. Looks great!

No, I had a local shop paint them. Make sure you choose a good shop, especially if you are only painting the doors and not blending into the adjacent panels. It is important that the painter is able to correctly tint the color to match the rest of your Jeep. If he/she just goes by the paint code, there is a good chance it won't be a good color match.

Put on the fog lights and winch today. What a pain to get while the bumper is installed.

Mounted a #724 Saris T-Rax Pro bike rack. The T-Rax Pro has a longer than usual hitch base, about 5 inches longer than what you'll find on Yakima and Thule hitch racks. That extra length is perfect to allow the rack to fit behind the spare tire without using a hitch extension. With my 34" tire...I cant open the door completely...just by an inch...but I have the bestop instatrunk so thats all the access i need.
