Nothing AEV runs them year round through tons of weather changes, I've run mine for 2 years now no problems whatsoever. You're gonna get water in the engine no matter what wether it be from dripping down or being kicked up off of the road, it's designed to get wet.

I used Herculiner, which was recommended to me by a commercial fisherman who beats the hell out of his truck bed on a daily basis. For the same reason as you, I couldn't justify the line-x. I read a lot of good and bad about all of the DIY bedliners, and I think the difference between a good job and a job that chips and peels is prep work. I took out all the sound deadener, wire wheeled where it had been, then removed the seats, vacuumed, sanded, scuffed, scrubbed with soap and water, taped, and finally, rubbed the whole thing down with acetone before I opened the can of liner.

nothing was "physically" done yet.. however, i did order my FT 4" Long Arm Lift, JE REEL 1350 driveshafts, Bilstein 5100 shocks, and 5 AEV Pintler wheels from Northridge 4x4..... Now we wait for them to be delivered.. said a possible 3 week delay on lift and wheels.
I'm ANXIOUS to say the least... getting ready for a cross country trip to Ouray, Silverton, Telluride, and Moab in Late August/Early September!!

Warn Elite front bumper
Installed a new Warn Elite front bumper w/o grill guard yesterday Happy Birthday to MEE hahaha. Also as a side note I couldn't find any real pictures of this bumper w/o the grill guard beside the advertising sticker, anyways I'm really happy with it so far and is 1,000x better than what I used to make due with for a front bumper. Winch will be coming in a couple days as well, followed by new rock rails to replace my broken ones, and in the near future a rear bumper + tire carrier will be coming
Before(was getting a new windshield at the time), during install, and completion
Also during install it was a PITA to get the 8 frame bolts to grab but that may be more my fault then Warns since I'm pretty sure the frame plates on my end were bent, that and the fact that I suck at reading instructions

Just finished installing my new xrc-8 winch, took me a while to figure out that you had to twist the plug from the joystick into the solenoid :face palm: other than that it was pretty easy to install
