JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Finally got the nerve to use Red's fender chop write up. Scary but easier than I thought even though it took 5 hours. I opted to leave the rear splash guard in as well as the front. I will be performing the front stubby bumper chop soon.

Nothing special but my insurance company told me that if I put Sherlock on my windows, my insurance would go down 300$ a year. So I did it today and my jeep looked like a big serial number. They put them in every windows and because I have tinted windows they make a big contrast. So the garage guy told me; "don't tell my boss but if you do...."

This is the result after using a black marker inside the numbers (left before and right after)

Thanks guys! Would love to take the credit for coming up with this one, but got the idea right here:

bikini top project

on my friendly neighborhood Jeep forum... I keep adding more and more to my project list every time I look at this forum, and occasionally get the chance to actually complete some of them.

Btw, you will need either 15 bungee balls minimum (I only bought 12), or use zip ties in key locations. I think the zip ties help stretch it better and you can leave the top in place after putting up the regular soft-top if you want to.

My wife actually said it was "okay" to ride in the jeep after this mod. I am never able to get her in the Jeep when the top is down in the summer so this was a HUGE improvement.

How the heck did you get the wrench under the bumper to fully tighten the bolts?

When I installed the MBRP bar i just bought a 3/8 swivel extension and a medium length 18mm from lowes. They sell a short/med and long socket and the med worked just fine.

I used only a utility knife. It probably was only about 2 hours of actual work and the other time was spent freaking out that I was going to screw something up. It took several months to get the nerve up to do it. I like your plastic weld idea, it seems pretty flimsy on top of the sub structure.
