I think one attached over the mirror, along the upper windshield frame would be an interesting thing to consider. ;-)


I have different RAM mounts that I exchange depending on what I want to hang there. If I hung everything at the same time it would look like more like the Space Shuttle. :-)


That's the thing I like about the combination e-dock + RAM mounts, it lets me position the screens and move them so they do not become a distraction.

For example, the A100 tablet's 7in screen is out of the way in front of the radio, which I seldom use. I use it for the topo maps, which I only have to look at when checking for a trail route. The Tom Tom GPS is like any car mounted model.

The Bully Dog takes care of itself and if any of the parameters I monitor goes out of range the alarm goes off.

The camera is pretty much like any other. It's already mounted so if I see any view I like it's just pressing the shutter button or starting to record a movie. The Panasonic Lumix is great for that.

The CB and HAM radios are also out of the way unless I need to communicate.

If I want to use one of the UMPCs I simply replace on of the existing things I have there.

The power plug extensions are also out of the way. So, in the end of the day, no distractions.
