My 2011 JKUR came with a 4" lift, Smittybilt SRC bumpers, and a winch. Not necessarily the way I would have gone, but nice anyways, or so I thought until I tried to add fuel canisters and a high lift Jack mount. Not wanting to have anyone build accessories for their spare tire mount, Smittybilt put the unit off center. The triangle that forms the tire support is on such an angle that no other after market systems work with it. I considered getting box tubing and making my own.

But wait, Smittybilt, not wanting to loose the opportunity to make a buck invented the iRack (Intelligent Rack System). This system will fit any spare tire carrying system with a hole in the center of the wheel being empty. While the unit is shown with a 5 gallon fuel can and high lift jack (most likely Smittybilt's clone) attached, you can buy it as just the base plate on which you can mount just about anything. Nice!

I bought it with the carrier for the 5 gallon fuel can and high lift jack hanger. Took five minutes to mount. No problems. When I went to get the fuel can, it was nearly impossible. I live in the socialist state of California, where the assembly and Governor knows whats best for us, and metal gas cans are not good for my health (actually it's the spout that comes with the metal cans). So I was unable to find a metal can in the near future. Since I needed it for the weekend, I had to adapt.

Good news, Roto Pax has a system that will fit even better than the heavier metal can. I took the Roto Pax universal mounting plate and mounted two 3 gallon plastic cans on it. Not only did I have an extra gallon of gas, but it was lighter than the metal can and spout! Since the Roto Pax mounting systems has locking brackets, I felt sure the empty cans would be there in the morning (the tops don't lock).

The high lift jack mount was simple enough, two bolts and some washers. Simplicity at it's best! But there were retaining pin through the bolts to ensure the the wing nuts didn't spin off. I replaced the retaining pins with master locks. End of the day, a really nice set-up! I'll post pictures shortly.

Lubricated the Rockkrawler control arms, dropped out the adams driveshafts for a little grease and cleaned the axles up for a new coat of satin black paint....almost sad see the undercarriage so clean! On the bright side all the squeaks are gone!

A while ago I installed a CB in the JK. Soon after I bought I cheap horn for the PA. Well it just wasn't loud enough. I could barely hear myself inside the cab. After looking around I finally found an amp that wasn't more than 500 watts.

Looking on Ebay I found this little gem of a Mini amp. Supposed to only be 40wx2 but the box reads 800w. That may be because it's from China.

Apparently it was designed for motorcycles and came with some speakers.

I like the picture on the box.

I put the speakers behind the grill. I connected both of those to one channel.

And I hooked the other channel up to the horn.

The amp I put on the driver side firewall to the left of the brake peddle.

And tapped into the fuse block with a bussman tap.

Now it is much louder. Haven't had the reason to tell someone how I feel yet but as long as there windows are down they should hear me.

Sold my Warn 9.5cti winch to inspect-a-home(getting ready to trade up to a 2013), now my bumper has a big hole in it. I feel empty inside when I look at it, :(

Last weekend I got some new lights for the windscreen. Before I had only some small lights there and didn´t do it properly.
Now it looks much cleaner and professional.

And today I relocated my steering stabilizer. Already changed the stock one to a Bilstein on.
But still was in at the original location. Got a Jeep swag relocation kit and did it today.....

So I´m ready for the OME lift kit coming in 2 weeks. Together with ne front bumper, cheap winch and hopefully some rock rails......

And I´m thinking about xenon flat and swapping to 35" tires in the next year.

And.......still so much to do........ C Gussets for the tires Dynatrac diff cover, tire carrier and rear bumper, maybe some nice shocks.
