I got them last night and opened them up on the living room floor. They looked ok. I didnt notice anything really different.
I put the drivers side on today and was really disappointed with them. The bottoms dont quite have the same fit and the tighteners are cheap and slip. The backs arent as fitted as the Rugged Ridge and slipped over pretty easy. When I put on my Rugged Ridge three years ago, I really had to work to get hem on. They were really fitted. The head rest piece is like a bag with no wrap around velcro like the RR. On top of it all, they are sort of pink. Not really the red I was used to. Needless to say Im sending them back for what I know fit and look good. The bad part is I will be spending about $100 more for the RR but at least I know I will be happy with them.
Here is a pic of the color difference.
Mine started to do the same after 3 years of wear. I'm not to replacement yet but not looking forward to it.

I have the Smittybuilt that I bought in 2010, inside grey and outside black. I will have to change them soon because now they are inside light dirty grey and outside turned purple (under the sun)...not very nice.

I added lights to the windshield, clear marker and turn signals, and put on some Rubi rails to fill the gap between the body and the ACE sliders. Goodbye pinch seam.

No pics, sorry, but I bought my tag and removed the "Sport", "Wrangler", "Unlimited" and the dealer decals, which should improve my approach angle by appx 6%.

A few months ago I had replaced the 3.73 gears in my front axle to 5.13s and due to inclimate weather approaching I finally decided to tear the rear apart and finish the job on my JK. What should have taken all New Years Day at the most ended up taking all week. The rear factory pinion and inner bearings were installed in the Jeep with surface rust on them and it welded everything together practically. After try to beat it out with a sledge and using a large puller jig to no avail we torched through the bearings and replaced everything. What a mess cleaning out the carrier after cutting all that. But now, everything is back together and it runs like a champ. Love the new gears.

Slow Christmas. I've been bad. All I got was an air freshened shaped like a hand grenade. :(
