Sweet Jeep

Are you running stock gearing? I am wondering how you like the gearing with these larger tires. I want to do this same thing with my son's jeep but I am unsure if this requires new gears. I think my son's jeep has 3.23's with the 6 speed manual transmission.

Thanks, I appreciate any feedback

I am also running the manual 6 speed with 3.21's and with the 35" tires I have pretty much lost 6th gear. It doesn't bother me too much. I just run in 5th on the highway and downshift to 4th when passing. The RPM's are really no different and gas mileage sucks regardless . I have had a couple friends recommend I install the 3.73's which I may do this summer if I get too annoyed with the constant downshifting.

My next two additions will be the tinted soft top windows and the black spray bedliner on the grill.

Thanks for the feedback about gearing. Yeah I here ya about the gas mileage It sounds like the lift and tires are definitely worth it even if later we decide to go with 3.73's. Bedliner on the grill will look sweet and protect against rock chips as well.

Cheers

Installed my JKS Quicker Disconnects today. Pretty simple, can't wait to use them.

How do you replace the chrome Jeep logo with black? I want to do this really back since I got a whole white and black color scheme going on lol.

Buy some plasti-dip from home depot or Lowe's from the paint section and just paint the emblem. Just painters tape around the logo and spray on 3 or 4 coats and take a tooth pick to peel away the rubber in between the letters

I was going to do that for my B&W scheme, but I decided to go a little bigger and bedline the whole grille. . .
