Took a pair of Rock Hard Jerry Can Mounts, cut off the base plates (because they interfered with the 37" spare), extended the square tube on the driver's side mount & welded them on to the Smittybilt XRC Tire Carrier. The stock Rock Hard Jerry Can Mounts can bolt-on but they don't sit level or same distance from spare on this tire carrier, so I tweaked them to make it look right.

 

Just SuperChip my JK she's driving like a beast now with her 37's!!

 

It's really a night and day difference with an auto and a tuner. I have a diablosport and man did it make a difference. Made my rig drove from a minivan to a ferrarri!

Src side armor and replaced the bare spare (spares in the "trunk" till I have $ for bumper/carrier) with diamond plate, bedlined of course.

Installed Bushwacker rocker panels. They are not as impressive as the aluminum Poison Spyder units but I liked that fact there was no drilling involved. Looks like it will do the job preventing stone chips.

 

Took the advice off the forum and made my own mess behind the front grille for $20.
