What was done to your JK this week?
Finally had the chance to go out and paint the remaining greystone that showed under the fenders after my fender chop....

WIthout the pictures I had a my rear tire sticking out a bit too much, and connected the spare tire on some rocks, out went the rear tail gate, now I have a bit more ventilation than I wanted. Next is to replace the rear tail gate oops. soo much fun so many repairs.
First I put on some lights and then went night wheeling with some of my buds from OJT.

Then I rotated my tires and got a better chance to see how bent my tie rod truly is...
(Rock Krawler coming soon)

And the last night, after two months of patiently waiting I got my new Rugged Ridge XHD rear bumper!

I started reading this thread from page 1 forward. It has taken me 12 days to get caught up to the current posts. And from all of this, I have learned just one thing: you guys are going to cost me a heck of a lot of money. I have a photo library of all of your mods, and I'm categorizing them now to help decide which I want to do first. LET THE FUN BEGIN!!!
FINALY... got my Teraflex BB installed and also put on the Best Top High Rock Slider Steps.
I followed WOL's write up on the BB and didn't use the Track Bar relocation bracket. What would be an advantage/DisAdvantage to not using it?

As for the bad part, Depends on which bracket you are talking about.
The original trackbar brackets that mounted on the axle end where adding leverage to the factory bracket and tearing the mount off of the axle. The ones that mount on the frame end are much preferred. However, companies have revamped the design and this isn't as much of an issue any longer.
The trackbar keeps the axle centered side to side under the jeep, when you lift it, the rear axle will get pulled slightly toward the passenger side. The idea of the bracket is to correct the geometry back to near stock to put the axle back at center. So, the advantage is to re-center your axle. Using an adjustable bar will allow you to fine tune that.

So to clairify, no problem running as is now. (followed write up and used ratchet strap to reconect to factory bracket). But if I use the extension bracket, the axle will be recentered.
