JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Picked up my jeep after having 4:56 gears and front and rear Detroit Truetracs installed! What a difference! All in (gears, master install kits, Truetracs, labor) about $2354.00

What size tire are you regearing for? And what kind of driving are you doing to warrant this particular gear ratio?
I've been considering regearing, I installed 35" tires and have lost 3-4 mpg as well as pickup and acceleration, wondering which ratio would be most helpful since this is my DD. On a daily basis most of my driving is highway with the typical rush hour stop and go, don't do much mudding or rock crawling, and most of my offroading is done on unimproved forest roads and beaches back on Long Island. Unsure which gear ratio would help the most, and not sure how to figure it out either. Any advice would help.

Depending on which motor and transmission as well as axle. My gear guy told me that he would never go numerically higher than 4:56 with a Dana 30. On here everyone has differing opinions but with the 3.8 and coming from the 3:21 gearing these 4:56 seem great. I would look over gear charts posted on this site for your particular application and decide what makes sense to you.

I feel your pain. I requested 4.21's from the factory for my '08 X but they only offered that as an option in '07 so they put in 3.73's. Suffice to say I would like to upgrade.
