Put on a tuffy cubby cover today. Anyone have experience with weather sealing the cubby with this lid?

Sorry, 2 yr. old son hit send. Anyways, bought 2 and was going to do matching, but the one for the passenger side would've been too close to the air box, so I'm just running one.

Are you supposed to put them in that exact location? I found some like that laying around at my job. I know they vent heat because the ice melted on my windshield right behind where they are located one morning while driving to work when it was cold.

Replaced blown lower rear control arm bushing and installed new 4" progressive rate springs.

No, I'm sure you can put them wherever you like. Yours look good up closer to the windshield, did you have to cut the hood brace? I was trying to avoid that and didn't cut thru it in the location I chose. Not that I would've been against cutting thru it if I would've had a better cutting tool.My jigsaw did pretty good with the super thin skin of the hood, I just didn't feel like it would've made a clean cut thru the brace also.
