You have to tear the tape off right after you spray it. And when using plasti dip, make sure you start with a light and even coat. It takes several coats to completely plasti dip something.

Well from what I see there is not much point to fix it. Others have said that it will work for a while then will not hold. But all I did was adjust it according the project jk write up. Take tire caliber and rotor off cleaned it up and tightened it up put it all back together and tightened it up a bit more from the slot in the back. It's a pain but what are you gonna do.

There are significant differences between PlastDip and DupliColor bedliner. The obvious is that PlastiDip is temporary and can be peeled off, while Duplicolor is permanent. The texture of PlastiDip is rather smooth, while DupliColor is more gritty. I found DupliColor to be more forgiving to apply due to the texture whereas PlastiDip shows every imperfection.

All in all, I preferred working with and like the texture of DupliColor to PlastiDip. If I was going for any permanent application I would go with DupliColor (assuming you are OK with the rougher, textured feel and appearance). DupliColor also makes some other sprays that are smooth like their Flexible Bumper Coating, however, I have no personal experience with their other products.

Finally got to install my RK 2.5 Flex Kit on my 2door jk, still running the stock tires and wheels and they look a little funny. Everything went smooth except for dropping a tire on my finger before starting.

Damn I love that snorkel. Looks good! I read thru install instructions today. You do yourself or have someone do it? Looks like a job but really want to do it myself.
