What was done to your JK this week?
I just got the Topless for Tata's edition trailmesh one & love it. It was so nice driving home from Adams Jeep Jam on sunny 90 degree day.
Finally got around to installing my spiderwebshade. I mainly bought it to throw on in light rain (yes, i know it has holes in it). We get occasional showers and sun breaks during spring. I figure if it allows me to keep the freedom panels off and keeps some of the rain out, it's a win-win for me.
For the most part it's straightforward to put up, but if you have a JKU and you keep the rear top on, it's a pain in the ass to put up.
Once I got it on, I found that you can easily remove the front fasteners and then roll the mesh up and secure it above the headrests. This way you can keep the hard part attached so taking in on and off will be a lot easier and quicker. This will be helpful for JKU owners who only take the front panels off.

They explain trail mesh vs ultra mesh on the YouTube video from Moab. By bizarre coincidence I just watched it ten minutes ago. The trail mesh is meant to withstand branches and stuff scraping it without tearing. The ultra is stretchable in all directions, which they say is helpful fur non stock applications.
I'd only be interested in using this on door less days to keep heat down. Do not often. How long does it take to install on a JKU?

I got the Blaze blue plasti dip and I got lucky on the color match that comes out of a can. Otherwise someone can purchase gallons and tints to get the color they want. The pic below shows what the blue looks like on top of black and my trim pieces are on a white basecoat, makes it pop a bit.

I'm still trying to figure out how to do this with the hard top. Its like riding around with a sagging headliner. I don't see how it can't since it needs to be attached to the clamps location.
