You can see how the piece is placed between the tray and metal tray holder

This image the three bolts to the fender I loosened the middle bolt slightly and loosened the top and bottom bolts more than the middle one then jammed the small mc piece in between the fender and the body then tightened the upper and lower bolts to the smitty fender. Does not move at all even at highway speeds.

Very very sneaky! I would love to see the look on the crooks face when they tried to swipe someone else's stuff.

How much were these? I was wondering about making them if they are expensive

Yes, this is very helpful. Well now Im unsure after trying again. Is the piece completely between the JK body or is the outside edge between the outter JK body and inside of XRC fender. My pieces are 1/2" wider than the inside area it is designed to cover.

Thanks

When I first installed them it felt like I was gonna flip the jeep over on turns! But after an hour or so of driving I noticed that the ride was softer, the turns were easier and no more rattling from the previous disconnects on the old sway bar. Have yet to go over any rocks or flex the axle, but I'm glad I got it. Drove the jeep from Chicago to myrtle beach with no problems and felt very confident on the highway at 80 mph. Don't have to worry about disconnects anymore.

Aha I see a difference between the small pieces. Yours measure out to over 3 inches and have the round cylinder pieces welded on. Mine on the other hand measure out to 2 3/4 inches and do NOT have the cylinders. That's weird? Did yours match the model year? Do you have a 2012 or newer? I have a 2012 and specified that on my order. Def give them a call.

Had to get a new power steering pump. Went out on me on the interstate at about 70mph. Steering wheel seized up almost instantly and avoided serious catastrophe. Easily one of the scariest things while running a 4" lift and 35's. my rig is a '12 unlimited. Crazy!
