After going low-mount for a few hours decided I was gonna rock the hi-mount. So swapped them out. I think I'm going to run low in winter with hard top and hi in summer spring with soft top. Here are a few pics.

Made some rock sliders at work out of 1.5 1/8th wall DOM tubing and 3/16 rectangular tubing. Brackets are 1/4 inch plate. Used some production designs and tweaked specs to my own liking. VERY TOUGH. I powder coated them with black texture so they aren't slippery.

Ordered an ORFAB spare tire carrier with rotopax gas cans the next day. Installed but haven't taken pictures yet.

PITA to install. And didn't like the 1 inch hole in my rear quarter panel, but it looks great and works great. Matches my rock sliders perfectly. Same size tubing and powder coat color/texture. Very good quality and I didn't have to drop a bunch of money on a bumper at the same time, but it will happen sooner or later.
