JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Good idea on the fix.

I got a few questions about the process. Here is the link I used for plans. I changed the measurements a little. 19" for the uprights (stops below the door handles), 16" for the crossbars (so the rear doors still stand upright), and 6" between each for the door thickness (pressure aids in keeping it upright). I also wrapped a ratchet strap around the whole thing while stored. I don't want to take a chance of a joint failing and the door come crashing down. My materials list was only 3x 10'x1" PVC. Make sure you use the cold weather tubing since the walls are far thicker. I think it only cost $35 in material because I already had the 2x4"s and casters.

Making progress on my stock bumper mod.

Originally installed the Rough Country end caps to make it stubby. Liked it ok but recently decided to strip the ugly plastic off. Liked it more but wanted the fog lights back so did this:

Cleaned up the tow points and rattlecanned some flat black

Same paint on bumper after mods

Now that the pieces are done, just have to put it back together.

How did you know how big to make it? Did you just measure your doors?

And the Mickey Thompson
I have the ATZP3s and like them a lot. They aren't as quiet as Duratracs, but they're not as noisy as mud terrains either. Tolerable, even when the doors are off. I've only wheeled with them once and I was very pleased at how well they did in the mud and on the few rocks I was on.
