Went to change my passenger side u joint and then dicovered that my axle shaft will need a replacement because the yokes are bent. I may get some rcv's instead.

 

GEARS!!! - which turned into a full rear rebuild and partial front rebuild...

with my driving style, expected mods, etc... I went with a 4.88 instead of 5.13. Of course, I bought my 09 JK used about a year ago with just 45k miles on it and have put just 6k miles on it since (Daily driver - but I live close to work) so neither the shop or I were expecting to need to replace all the bearings ... but the crush sleeve on the rear had partially disintegrated and the diff was full of crush sleeve filings, bearings were shot.

 

Body Armor trail doors installed.

 

New upper and lower ball joints installed, 12" stubby antenna and a fresh oil change.

 

Gave Big Red her first scratch. :(. Pulled into a parking spot and didn't realize the truck was over the line until I hit him. Totally my fault but still makes me sad. Big Red held up a little better than the Chevy...even the cop was impressed with the minimal damage.
