JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Black and Charcoal Katzkins w/Mopar Heated Seat Kit (fronts only):

How do you like the Katzkins? How much did you have to pay for them (if you don't mind me asking) Did you install them yourself, or have someone else do the work?

As far as my JK, I washed off the mud today so I can add some more next week!

I really like them so far. I paid $815 shipped to my door. I think it was $815, might have been $850. There are several optional things you can add that increase the price from about 750 I think.

Installed them myself. They don't come with instructions, so you have to use the factory covers as the instructions for how to do the Katzkins. Fronts were very easy. The back seat was a huge pain in the butt. I could not remove the center bolt in the bed area just behind the back seats to save my life. I tried on and off for 2 days, hoping each shot of PB Blaster would be the one to loosen the bolt to break it free. After I finally couldn't get it and decided to take it to the gas station to have them blast it off with an impact wrench, only then did I realize that the back seat doesn't need to be removed to put the Katkins on. lol All I had to do was unbolt the feet of the backseat. This allowed the seat part to swing up, allowing for the foam to be removed from the frame. Once it was out of the way, it was very easy to unzip the backrest part and pull the cover off, take the foam in and work on it.

Without being an idiot it's about 6-8hrs worth of work. For me it was a 3 day job. lol

What is the back side of the back seat made of? The factory seat has carpet, and I'd really like to have some kind of rubberized or leather backing there.

The back is pretty much the same as the factory, a heavy duty carpet, matched to the factory carpet in color. Leather back there would just get abused really badly when the seats are folded flat. Rubberized is kind of a cool idea though.

I've been thinking about the 5.13's. Let us know how the power and gas mileage works out for you.

I finally got my lights installed. So my past week, minus the four days it was dead in service, have been LoD Midwidth, Superwinch 9.0EPi, PIAA 520 SMR's, PIAA H13 replacement bulbs and Silverstar H10 replacement bulbs.

I am tired and broke but it looks really nice and the lights are great! I will post up some pics in the next day or two.

I just picked up my Jeep from the shop. I had 5.13s installed with new custom driveshafts. It definitely pulled better from a dead stop. When I get my programmer from Northridge, I'll get the speedometer accurate.
