Just installed the hood latches from the recall. tomorrow I take a 3 hour highway trip to try them out.

I also installed the two front grab handles i got here from wego4x4. They are NICE! very easy install of course. Just what the doctor ordered.

I also installed my CB antenna. I didn't wire it and I still need to mess with it. I had a few minutes and I wanted to see how it would look. I'll post pics when I do the actual cB install.

 

OH YEAH!!! Finally installed my Pro Comp Stage II 4" lift and my jeep looks awsome even with the stock Rubi wheels and tires. Cant wait to buy some 35's!
I will post pics tomorrow of everything I did this week- New rear window, Me Grill aluminum inserts, 4" lift!!
The Jeep looks good. got a full 4" in the back and 4.5" in the front almost eliminating the rake

 

that black grill really looks sexy either on grey, yellow, white, red colors.

i did a coupla things this week:

i built this to mount the compressor.....


i mounted the compressor....



my buddy got some xenon fender flares for his unlimited and he let me have his stock fenders. i chopped the fenders and mounted the front ones. never had a chance to put the back ones on yet. i hope they fit. i understand that the rear fenders for the unlimited are a little different than the ones for the 2 door. im gonna try em.... heres the front ones isntalled. i plan on taking a little more off when i get my stubby front bumper.



i plan on wiring the compressor up this week. i have the daystar switch panel ordered. when it comes in, ill mount the switches. when i take it to the shop hopefully the week after mardi gras, ill get my gears and lockers installed and the hoses run to the compressor.

painted my OEM wheels... ruined one of my tires in the process. (Good thing my new ones came in last week)

Made a fire extinguisher holder out of my old license plates. Mounted my hi-lift jack in the back, and installed my cb radio.
