JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Got my jk back with evo gussets and skids, yukon 5.13's and a frt Lockright locker, was totally stoked until hearing a dry bearing type of noise, was even less stoked when checking rear diff to find it 1/2 quart low. Needless to say I'm beyond pissed right now, drinking vodka and dreading driving my bike in the rain tomorrow.

I had my hood latches changed and it still lifts up in a crosswind.

You can get it at your local hobby shop, an upholstery shop etc. I have a bunch of foam laying around from some shipping boxes and some that I bought for making motorcycle seats.

Default Hood latches

Jeff
The latches were stiff at first. they will get a little easier, your hood won't bounce up and down when a V W drives by.
Good wheeling

Finally got my D44 Solid diff cover on.

Got some Kayak handles for rear sound bar grab handles.
The price was right, the local kayak shop had some used ones that were
in a box taken from a kayak someone wanted changed. FREE!

Also finished/installed my answer to Raingler netting for my dog.
He can still get his head around the side, but he cannot jump over the seats
when he is all muddy.
More or less a fishing net.
8 hrs total of layout, knot tying, install:

How many inches did you use?
CSE Offroad is a good company I got my Rugged Ridge Front Bumper with end caps and tube for $500 shipped to my door.

Be sure to get the ones associated with the TSB. (Was it TSB40? I forget.) This way you don't buy old inventory that's no better than what you are replacing! I suspect that's what a lot of people are doing when they claim to not see any improvement.

Nobody seems to care about this remedy, I've posted

I just finished another 1500 mile freeway trip with NO HOOD MOVEMENT

Stock latches/trunk gasket/remove spring

The spring counteracks the latches and causes the "bouncing" as pressure builds up-escapes thru the front-then seals again till the pressure builds again

Remove the spring and use the FULL gasket to eliminate the hood "air gap" !!!
