There's a thread on this Mod and I feel it's one of the best mods you can do that doesn't cost anything but some time. You'll really like it when your done and our JK's should have been made this way in the first place.

 

No much done this weekend.

Installed MORE dual battery tray, attached Fire Ex. to rear bar, added a couple of hand grips in the front window on the pillar and loaded a first aid kit complete with splints, blood clotting dressing and some surgical instruments for trailside gunshot victims.....I'm going nuts with this new toy

 

Did my DIY grill guard today out of gutter screen off a old thread. Again I should have done this one a long time ago!!!!

 

Warmed up here in NH today, Gave it a quick wash and a wax.

 

Rotated the KM2's, greased the steering shaft boot... yep, I have the clunky steering.

Were do I start.. Picked up my 09 rubicon unlimited 2 weeks ago.. all this weekend I installed my daystar dash organizer, put in my new quadratec frnt mats, rear mats and cargo mat. Blacked out the front two windows at 20% and the full windshield at 50%. Washed and waxed it. Replaced the headlights and fog light bulbs with Sylvania SilverStars. Thats enough til next weekend maybe ill install some rock sliders if i find a nice set i realy like.

Bought some new wheels. They go on tomorrow

 

Drilled the mirrors and put some Rubi Shocks on my X. Looks good and rides better. If the weather holds, I'm washing and waxing her. Spring can't come soon enough!
