So the wife and kids surprised me with a set of enhance rubi takeoffs for Father's Day and I'm so excited! I've only had the Jeep about a month or so but I'm so happy to be back after trading away my 07 Rescue Green JKU when my daughter was born almost 6 years ago. So far I've added grab handles, tinted the windows, added a few decals, Rugged Ridge mirrors, and Cibie headlights. Slowly getting back to making it mine again.

Finally get to post!
Finally get a chance to post. Even though the Mods this spring were done over 6 weekends, decided to post all at once. Below is picture from dealer when 1st purchased 2018 JKU Sahara Altitude in November 2017. Traded in 2012 JKU that teenage daughter got airborne in ditch culvert. Since she wasn't going to be driving my JKU anytime soon (or ever again), decided on an upgrade. Waiting at dealer and looking at new vehicles is a very dangerous. That's how I bought my 2015 Chevy Tahoe LTZ. Gotta learn to just walk away.
1st Mod was to add Spidertrax 1.5" wheel spacers. Greatly improved the ride over the winter. Also removed factory hardtop and replaced with soft-top from old 2012 JKU when it got warmer. Perfect fit!
Mods this spring was to get new wheels and tires. Added BFG KO2 315/70R17 on Tactik 17x9 Hub-centric rims with 5.0" backspacing and saved the wheel spacers for winter use of stock rims and tires. Also added 2"/1" Teraflex Leveling Kit.
Next was to add Amp-Research PowerStep Xtreme Power running boards for the kiddos (and me with a bad back and short inseam). Grab handles front and rear also help. After three weekends of trouble shooting and two replacement controllers, thanks to Chris at Amp-Research, I finally got them running perfectly.
Last Mods for now was to replace factory tailgate hinge and tire carrier with Rock Hard 4x4 Body Mount tire carrier with Hi-Lift Jack mount. Also added Alpine Rear View Camera and Light System since I lost the 3rd brake light with new tire mount and needed more rear vision with larger tire mounted. Just need to flash factory radio on next oil change.
That's it for now. Will remove mud flaps as they don't look right with the larger tires. But, all ready for summer fun and loving my new look and ride. Can't wait to remove the doors and feel the wind!
