JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Installed a steering stab relocation bracket for my TF SS and it's up and out of the harms way now

Took it to the Bayou Jeepers Topless at Hooters Summer Jeep run in Monroe, LA

Today I installed the external XM antenna to get my sat radio back (since the Gobi interfered with the stock receiver).

Default Evo Trail Table

I just got done installing my new trail table. I love the table but it was a PITA to install. I had a horrible time getting the nut inserts to grip correctly but when it as all said and done, I got a sweet work bench now!

Default AEV Rear Diff Slider (Nth99049AA for JK Dana 44HD)

Like the title says, I installed AEV's rear diff slider this afternoon.

The good:
  • doesn't appreciably reduce clearance
  • slider is well made and smoothly finished on the outside
The not so good:
  • No install instructions in the box or on-line
  • uses 3 U bolts to attach to axle tubes and front of diff
  • U Bolt for front of diff was hard to install and seemed a little short
  • Extra parts! Four 3/8"-16 nuts left over and no idea where they might belong
The price was about what I am used to paying for a skid and the skid itself seems very well made, but the U Bolt mounting scheme with four extra nuts seemed a little hokey like something I might think up. The lack of instructions was not a confidence builder either. This took me about three hours -- way too long.
