good to know I'm thinking if doing the inside of my hard top, one to get rid of that nasty bright white, and two because they say it actually acts as an insulator and could help with dampening the sound, thanks man

You might have to let it sit with the windows down for a while for that project. Ive read on here that some guys have had residue for longer when doing the top.

I have found plasti-dip to be a bit of a short term solution, I dipped my antenna, jeep grill logo and trail rated badge and after 2 winters they are looking rough. I painted the inside of my hard top with Rustoleum(sp?) Universal, it is looks great and with moving parts you are bound to rip the plasti-dip. Please keep in mind regardless of using paint or plasti-dip do not paint the bottom of your top that sits on the jeep itself, the black paint rubbed off on my Dozer jeep and I'm having a hell of a time getting it off.

Best solution I could find to getting the paint stain off my Jeep was to trade it in for a 2014, yeah baby, now I have to paint my new hardtop.
