JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What would be a fair asking price for my jeep?

Default What would be a fair asking price for my jeep?

I am considering selling my JKU, but not sure what would be a fair asking price. I am in Southern California, if that makes a difference...
I don't want to ask too much and turn off interest, but don't want to let it go for too little. I appreciate any feedback...
Thank you
Brian

That sounds like fantasy island from where I sit!
My life experience selling modified and or race vehicles is $0.25 on the dollar for hardware at best, not a shitting thing for labor.

$$$ Depends a great deal on the year/miles, also it looks like a factory D30 axle so many people who are looking for off-road fun and traveling for the Jeep hot spots of the country will look at that build and immediately see that it needs $5K for a proper front axle. Not that this is a deal breaker. I'm sure that there are many many potential buyers that would just keep the 22" wheels on it and roll for chicks in it. It is a sharp build.

Thank you all for the input!
We built the jeep on a TV show, now we are at an end with the project and ready to move to the next. I've sold my lifted trucks in the past, I get there is a small return in aftermarket.
I didn't want to list it like some of the Starwood rigs I've seen for $80K. Frankly, can't see much of a difference between those and this.
It does have the Dana 30 (thought we where going to upgrade that on the show). I've had it through TDS, Ocotillo and lots of trails... It worked for what we did with it.
It's fun, just need something else now
Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it.

Ahem... cough...
Not yet... Still the notorious "we are working on it". Procharger recently opened a facility in northern CA, so that might actually help them produce a CARB#.
Not holding my breath...
However, I do have a way to smog for title transfer... Seller has to hand over a smog cert from within 60 days of sale (I believe) at time of transaction for new owner reg.
