I'm selling an old beater truck, hopefully I will get $1500 or close. What should I buy for my 12 jkur? I eventually want it to have 33s since its not gunna be wheeled more than a dozen times a year. Thanks.

 

I would buy 35's and then just save 500 more for a budget boost

 

I need a basket for my roof rack and some kc lights. Onboard air would be nice as well.

does that include wheels and tires? If not I'd get yourself a nice lift, and then get the 33's or even 35's.
if wheels and tires are in there, go 33x12.50 tires, and get wheels of your choice. sell the old ones and put money from old ones toward a lift

I doubt I can get any set of 5 35s for less than 1500 in Alaska. Tire prices r outrageous here.

 

"if" you can get 35's for 1000, spend the remaining 500 on a set of Pro Steer Ball Joints from Dynatrac.... Those 35's are going to kill your stock "junk mopar" ball joints real quick. Then the bad BJ's are going to kill them 1000 tires real fast.

 

If it was me, I'd shop for a rear locker. Selectable, of course.
