Brett, I think you ought to email this idea to Jeep directly. It really is a great idea.

What exactly do you have to cut to install this kit?

From the factory the canister mounts to a metal mounting plate which mounts to the frame of the Jeep. The sawzall is used to basically cut one of the ears off of the mounting plate so that is can be positioned correctly using the parts from the kit.

I am sure Woods will chime in here and explain it the correct way.

After you remove the rear axle, you just have cut the back half of your JK off. Or not really

I don't think that I'm supposed to be pimping my stuff here, as I'm not a forum sponsor YET. BTW, I have commited to signing up as a sponsor in January when I have my website online... But to answer the question at hand, I think a picture is worth a thousand words. This from the Instructions:

Default Thank You Sir:

Woods:

Your design and idea ( Evap Canister Relocation kit ) helps make the JK safer for the JK community.

The cost of this kit is minuscule compared to a child or an adults life !

Thank you and Eddie for having a forum that helps the JK community, and the community should commend both of you.
